beijing part 7

so i had the onsite study trip today and it was nice.. went to Dragon Seal wine brewery and was brought around. the last part of the on site trip was good as we could ask questions about the china market, how the wine industry differs from country to country (with the fine example of china as compared to france and etc)

it was interesting some cool facts i gathered, such as:
red wine sells better than white wine cause its red - an auspicious colour for the chinese
the red wine produced domestically in china tastes really different, you can say that its kinda suited to the chinese taste (to me, australian red wine is still magical!)

it was also cool being briefed on how its important that they search for a place to grow the grapes, the different types of grapes that are made, which are better, how they sell wine here, the target market, the consumer knowledge and behaviour towards wine. im so sure Daries and Cheryl would love to be here with me.. we had wine tasting in the end and it was awesome. the white wine was to die for. i jus had to buy a bottle of white wine! it was really good to me.. at least i know i loved it! and a good bottle, 2003 white wine cost like 38 RMB.

now tell me why i love china?

p/s: i changed my blogskin eh? NICE? :)

anyhow, cant wait for business lecture tomorrow. my toes are telling me that its gonna rock!
